Reminder! New Year’s Day 5K Location!

Greetings, MCRRC!

We wanted to take a moment to remind you that the New Year’s Day 5K will NOT be at Seneca Creek State Park this year! 

Registration will be (indoors) at Manna Food Center at 9311 Gaither Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.  The race will start at 10 AM.  If you are interested in donating to Manna, we would encourage you to bring a few dollars (rather than food or cans of food), per the suggestion of the folks at Manna.

In addition, we are offering our members the opportunity to avoid the long lines on race day! Stop by the Krispy Kreme in Falls Grove Shopping Center (14919 Shady Grove Road) between 3 and 5pm on December 31st to pick up your 2016 low-key bib & chip. For even faster service, print and fill out the online form in advance and remember to bring your previous chip for exchange. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to have that last sugary snack before those new year’s resolutions take effect!
