MCRRC Frosty Six

NOTE: The Frosty Six race was cancelled the night before based on the
announcement by that Montgomery County School System that all activities
scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 1999 in their schools have been cancelled
due to continued power outages in many schools. Many runners who did not get
the word about the race cancellation showed up Sunday morning to race, as
did the person who was responsible for opening the Robert Frost School for
our use. Since we had the use of the school, after all, and there were over
100 runners expecting to run, MCRRC went ahead with the race.
