Country Road Run 5K 2026
RACE OVERVIEW:
The 5K race will be held at Calleva Farm in Dickerson. The course offers views of horses, hayfields, and a big, red barn—you can’t get more country than that in Montgomery County! And breaking a long-standing MCRRC tradition, the race features a downhill finish.
New this year: We will be having a shoe collection and an informal kids run, and Calleva will have their grill open and will be serving breakfast food (for purchase).
The location is in the far west end of the county, so please be sure to map it and allow extra travel time to get there.
LOCATION:
The address is 19120 Martinsburg Road in Dickerson, MD. Parking will be available in a designated portion of the hay field (please follow the directions of the volunteers). Registration and the start/finish of the race will be located near the herb garden.
The course will run through the farm and then out and back on Martinsburg Road.

REGISTRATION:
MCRRC Members –
This race is part of our low-key race series and is FREE for MCRRC members. Race registration is not required for members; however, members must first sign up for a 2026 bib and chip. Your bib and chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race. If you have a 2025 (or older) chip, please bring it with you to exchange for your 2026 bib and chip. If you are a new member, or no longer have an older chip, please remember to bring a $5 chip deposit with you. If you already signed up for a personalized 2026 bib, please do not sign up again—your personalized 2026 low-key bib and chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race.
Non-MCRRC Members –
Registration is open to non-MCRRC members at a cost of $22 (participants ages 18 & over) and $11.60 (participants under 18). This price includes the registration + processing fee. Online registration will remain open through the start of the race, so you can register online before leaving the house or from your smartphone at the race site. We strongly encourage you to register online before you arrive at the race site. You can pick up your bib and chip on race morning, near the start area. Non-members can register here.

REFUNDS:
If you are a non-MCRRC member who registered for this race but can no longer attend, please contact office@mcrrc.org so that we can move your registration to another MCRRC low-key event and open up a spot for someone else. Monetary refunds will not be provided.
