2026-27 Board of Director’s Slate
** The process of electing the Board of Directors will begin at the MCRRC Awards Banquet on March 22 with a recognition of the nominees, followed by the opening of the online voting poll. The online poll will remain open for two days following the banquet to allow for all members to cast their vote. The poll will close on Tuesday, March 24 at 6pm.
Dear Members,
As Chair of the Nominating Committee, I am pleased to present the slate of nominees for the 2026-27 Board of Directors. We are fortunate that we continue to receive a strong pool of candidates, reflecting the depth of leadership within our club.
Over the past couple of months, the Nominating Committee conducted a thoughtful and thorough selection process. This included distributing candidate questionnaires, carefully evaluating responses, and conducting interviews. We also sought input from current board members to ensure our nominations align with the club’s evolving needs and future direction.
With that we recommend the following nominees to the board in 2026. We believe they will bring valuable experience and leadership to the board.

- Outgoing: Jane Heinrichs; Incoming: Deb Griffin
At-Large Members
- Current: Matthew Von Hendy (nominated for a second term)
- Outgoing: Sharon Raszap Skorbiansky; Incoming: Gordon Li
- Outgoing: Deb Griffin (moved to Secretary); Incoming: James Jalandoni
We sincerely thank Jane Heinrichs and Sharon Raszap Skorbiansky for their dedication and service to the club. Their contributions have played an important role in MCRRC’s continued growth and success, and we look forward to recognizing their efforts at the Annual Awards Banquet.
It has been a privilege for all of us on the Nominating Committee to participate in this process. We are excited about the strength of this year’s nominees and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our club’s future. We also want to recognize the contributions of the outgoing Nominating Committee members: Conroy Zien, Chair; Mike Acuña, Kevin Edwards, and Wanda Walters. Our committee now includes Sherene Sepheri, Jim Dahlem, and Ashish Gupta as new members.
