Cancellation of MCRRC’s Country Road Run

A message from MCRRC President, Don Shulman:

Friends,

We have decided to postpone the Country Road Run scheduled for this coming Sunday, January 31st. The race will be rescheduled in the near future. Even though there will be some melting between now and Sunday, the roads utilized by the course are very narrow to begin with and our permit does not allow for us to close the road. This creates a danger to our runners and a hazard to the neighborhood drivers.

Our partners within the local municipalities are supportive and appreciative of this decision. As soon as details are set on a reschedule date, we will communicate via these same venues.
