Overview:
Come join a revival of the Monday night Lakelands/Kentlands group run. This is a new run to the MCRRC weekly offering and the only Monday drop-in group run. We run a 3- or 5-mile route through the Lakelands and Kentlands neighborhoods that includes much of the Kentlands/Lakelands 5K route. Currently, the majority of the group sticks to a 10:00-10:30/mi pace. If you plan to run slower or faster, please make sure to be familiar with the route maps (below) as we run in the dark during the winter months and want to make sure everyone makes it safely back to the starting point. As the group grows, we hope to have more pace groups represented.
The group will meet under the Pavilion. Plenty of parking is available in the parking lot, Main Street, and neighborhood side streets. Reflective gear required when it will be dark by 8 pm.
