Cabin John Kids Run 2026
RACE OVERVIEW:
This race is for kids 17 years and under and part of the MCRRC Youth Series. Events will begin at 9:00AM at Cabin John Regional Park (7450 Tuckerman Lane) in Bethesda, MD. In the interest of promoting youth fitness, these races are free to all participants ages 17 and under, but participants must be registered by a parent.
RACE SCHEDULE:
9:00AM – 0.25mi young run (YS)
The 0.50 mile (YS) and 1 mile (YS) young runs will begin after the 0.25 mile event.

REGISTRATION:
There will be no timing chips used for the youth series runs. Youth runs will begin at 8:00 AM and participants can run a 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile. The runs are FREE, but all participants must be registered by a parent or guardian prior to race day (members and non-members). Youth Run registration can be found here. Parents or Guardians do not need to register for the young runs to accompany your child. You are welcome to jump right in with them, if needed!
