Black Hill 10K 2025
RACE OVERVIEW:
Join us for a trail race in Black Hill Park, a race that was introduced in 2009. We can promise you rocks, roots, and some challenging trails – come out and join us at this beautiful Montgomery County park. And if you have any old running shoes to donate, please bring them along. We will be collecting them for a good cause at the registration table.

Black Hill Regional Park is located at 20930 Lake Ridge Drive in Boyds. From I-270N, take exit 16 north toward Damascus (stay right onto Father Hurley Boulevard/MD 27) to a left on 355 north. Go about 1.5 miles to a left onto Old Baltimore Road, then another approximately 1.5 miles and look for Black Hill Park entrance on your left. Turn left on Lake Ridge Drive into the park and follow signs for picnic shelter J.
REGISTRATION:
MCRRC Members –
This race is part of our low-key race series and is FREE for MCRRC members. Race registration is not required for members; however, members must sign up for a 2025 bib & chip. Your bib and chip will then be waiting for you at the race (or any other low-key race of 2025). If you have a 2024 (or older) chip, please bring it with you to exchange for your 2025 bib and chip. If you are a new member, or no longer have an older chip, please remember to bring a $5 chip deposit with you. If you already signed up for a personalized 2025 bib, you do NOT need to register online – your bib will be waiting for you at any low-key race of the year.
Non-MCRRC Members –
Registration is open to non-MCRRC members at a cost of $15 plus fees (participants ages 18 & over) and $10 plus fees (participants under 18). Online registration for non-members will remain open until the start of the race, so you can register online before leaving the house or from your smartphone at the race site. We encourage you to register before you arrive at the race site. You can then pick up your bib and chip on race morning near the start area.

REFUNDS:
If you are a non-MCRRC member, and can no longer attend the race, please contact office@mcrrc.org so that we can move your registration to another MCRRC low-key event and open up a spot for someone else. We are sorry that we cannot provide refunds.
