Youth Volunteer of the Year

This award is to acknowledge, and encourage, volunteering by our youngest club members and to strengthen their connection to MCRRC.

Eligibility:  

  1. Must be under 19 years of age as of January 1 [start of year under consideration].
  2. Must be an MCRRC member [as an individual or as part of a family membership] as of December 31 [end of year under consideration] and must have been a member for at least 6 months in the year for which the award is given.
  3. Must have volunteered for the club at least once during the year for which the award is given.

Selection Criteria:

Any volunteer contributions to the club will be considered—helping with races, programs, events, or other activities.  Time spent volunteering, as well as quality of contributions, will be considered.

Nomination Procedure:

Email nominations for MCRRC Youth Volunteer of the Year to president@mcrrc.org and should include (a) the full name and contact information for the nominator as well as the youth being nominated; and (b) comment on the volunteer efforts deserving of recognition.
