Call for Nominations: MCRRC Board of Directors
The Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated members to join our leadership team! We are now accepting nominations for the following open board positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Three (3) At-Large Board Members
Serving on the MCRRC Board is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our club, support our running community, and help shape the future of our programs and initiatives.
Position Descriptions
- President:
- Provides leadership and oversight for the club.
- Presides over board meetings and ensures the execution of MCRRC’s mission and strategic goals.
- Acts as the primary representative of the club within the broader community.
- Vice President:
- Supports the President and assumes their responsibilities in their absence.
- Plays a key role in organizational planning and member engagement.
- At-Large Board Members:
- Represent the interests of the membership.
- Provide input and expertise on key decisions affecting the club.
- Participate in committees, special projects, and event planning as needed.

- Are passionate about running and the club’s mission.
- Have leadership, organizational, or community-building experience.
- Are eager to make a meaningful impact within our vibrant running community.
How to Nominate
To nominate yourself or another member:
- Submit a brief nomination statement including:
- The nominee’s name and contact information.
- The position for which they are being nominated.
- A short explanation of why the nominee is a good fit for the role.
- Email your nomination nominating@mcrrc.org by January 14, 2025.
