Call for Nominations: Join the MCRRC Board of Directors!
Dear Club Members,
Do you have a passion for running and a drive to shape the future of our club? We are excited to announce the opportunity to nominate dedicated individuals for the Board of Directors. This is your chance to actively contribute to our club’s growth, direction, and community impact.
As a Board member, you’ll play a pivotal role in representing our club at various events, meetings, and engagements throughout the year. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Representing the club and the communities we serve at meetings, races, and functions
- Setting the club’s agenda and future direction
- Spearheading marketing efforts for membership expansion and visibility
- Overseeing committee management
- Overseeing accounting, budgeting, and financial tasks
- Participating in monthly board meetings, focusing on reviewing minutes, action items, new business, governance, and issue resolution
- Fundraising initiatives for current and new club activities
We’re currently seeking nominations to fill four vital positions within the Board of Directors (Secretary, Treasurer, and two At-Large positions). If you or someone you know possesses leadership qualities, organizational skills, and a commitment to our club’s success, we encourage you to submit nominations.
Nominations should be sent to nominating@mcrrc.org by January 12, 2024. Please include the nominee’s email and contact information and a brief statement outlining the nominee’s qualifications and motivations for serving on the Board. Self-nominations are encouraged!
