Nominations Needed – 2016 MCRRC Volunteer of the Year
Before we get into the full swing of the holiday season, it’s time to identify our best club volunteers for 2016!
Volunteers are critical to the success of our club. Of course everyone does a great job and should be commended…but maybe there are some individuals you feel should be recognized as the best of the best in MCRCC for 2016? These are the folks with a constant presence at club events as they cheer us on, help us register, assist at water stops and post-race with refreshments, and also find time to support our many training groups and/or other activities. If you know someone who fits these criteria, why not nominate them for consideration as Volunteer of the Year.
This honor is awarded to an exceptional volunteer who has made the most significant or sustained volunteer contributions in the past year, taking into account both the time spent, results achieved, and greatest variety of personal effort given in support of MCRRC. Any types of cumulative volunteer contributions to the club will be considered (i.e., ongoing committee job, coordination of special events, club race work, training program support, or working at any club activity).

The Committee will provide you with a brief form to complete where you can include as much detail as possible on their specific volunteering efforts, which helps the Committee during the selection process.
