Call for Nominees for Volunteer Awards!

Happy New Year to all…

It’s time to identify our best volunteers for 2015!

Volunteers are critical to the success of our club… they cheer us on, help us register, assist us at water stops and post-race with refreshments, support our training groups and other activities, and on and on…  Of course everyone does a great job and should be commended…but maybe there are some individuals you feel should be recognized as the best of the best in MCRCC for 2015? If so, why not nominate them for consideration as Volunteer of the Year.

This honor is awarded to an exceptional volunteer who has made the most significant or sustained volunteer contributions in the past year, taking into account both the time spent, results achieved, and greatest variety of personal effort given in support of MCRRC.  Any types of cumulative volunteer contributions to the club will be considered (i.e., ongoing committee job, coordination of special events, club race work, training program support, or working at any club activity).

If you would like to suggest a stellar MCRRC member who should be considered as the 2015 Volunteer of the Year, please e-mail me atclcruns@yahoo.com.  Be sure to Include as much detail as possible on their specific volunteering efforts with your submission to help the Committee with the selection process.
