DESCRIPTION:Time: 6:30pm every Thursday \nPlace: Mattie Stepanek Park\, 1800 Piccard Drive\, Rockville. The group will meet in the large parking lot off Piccard Drive. \nContact: Mary Travaglini (marytravaglini@yahoo.com) \nOverview: \nEnjoy running with others at a conversational pace on Thursday evenings. Runners and walkers at all paces are welcome (all conversation topics are welcome\, too)\, though most of the group are back-of-the-packers. There are a variety of routes from 3 to 4 miles and all will take place in King Farm.  The group will depart at 6:30pm or within a few minutes after. It is recommended to arrive 5-10 minutes early to group up with others. \nThe group will use the streets and sidewalks in the neighborhood\, typically making a loop from Piccard Drive to Gude Drive and back to Piccard via Gaither Road and around the paved trail to reach 3 miles. Additional miles can be added after the loop.  Please wear reflective clothing and consider bringing a headlamp or flashlight. \nThe group has a communication forum on the WhatsApp text chat.  Please contact Mary to be added to the WhatsApp. The communication forum will be used in the event of workout cancellations\, location or time changes\, so it’s highly recommended that all interested parties join the forum.

All paces are welcome – including walkers. We head down Kensington Parkway and make our way to the Rock Creek Trail. Most participants stay for a drink or two following the workout. Pubrunners receive a discount on large beer pours and on wine. \n\n\nFood is available from the Cattie Shack (BabyCat’s food truck) and local restaurants/markets. Participants may also bring their own food.
