SUMMARY:Kemp Mill C(hills) 5K/10K 2026
DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nKemp Mill C(hills) 5K/10K is a scenic tour through the rolling hills of Kemp Mill. Once the race starts\, runners may choose to turn around early and complete the 5K race\, or continue on for the extra challenge (and hills!) of the 10K race. \nBoth distances start and finish at Kemp Mill Elementary School and loop through the neighborhood on open roads.  Pre- and post-race activities will take place inside the school. \n  \nCOURSE MAPS: \n5K Course | 10K Course \n\n  \nREGISTRATION: \n\nMCRRC Members – \n\nThis race is part of our low-key race series and is FREE for MCRRC members.  Race registration is not required for members; however\, members must first signup for a 2026 bib & chip. Your bib & chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race.  If you have a 2025 (or older) chip\, please bring it with you to exchange for your 2026 bib & chip.  If you are a new member\, or no longer have an older chip\, please remember to bring a $5 chip deposit with you.  If you already signed up for a personalized 2026 bib\, please do not sign up again – your personalized 2026 low-key bib & chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race. \n\nNon-MCRRC Members – \nRegistration is open to non-MCRRC members at a cost of $22 (participants ages 18 & over) and $11.60 (participants under 18). This price includes the registration + processing fee. You may pay less in processing fees per participant if you add more registrations to your cart. Online registration will remain open through the start of the race\, so you can register online before leaving the house or from your smartphone at the race site.  Registering online before arriving to the race site is strongly encouraged.  Non-members can register here. Bib and chip pickup will take place on race morning near the start area.  Volunteers will be available to assist you. \n  \n\n\nVOLUNTEER! \nMCRRC is a volunteer organization and our events are fully staffed by the hard work of our volunteers.  Without them\, our races wouldn’t be possible. Volunteers are needed for this event. Please sign up here to volunteer! \n\n\n  \nREFUNDS: \nIf you are a non-MCRRC member\, and can no longer attend the race\, please contact office@mcrrc.org so that we can transfer your registration to another MCRRC low-key race.  Monetary refunds will not be provided. \n

SUMMARY:Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon & 50K 2026 ($)
DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nIn this race\, you will experience some of Montgomery County’s finest single-track trails as you meander along beautiful Seneca Creek in Seneca State Park.  This scenic trail is muddy\, rocky\, rooty\, hilly and steep in sections with no major elevation gain/loss. This is a challenging\, but beautiful run for all! \nThe Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon and 50K is a low-key\, low-priced and fun filled event along the beautiful Seneca Creek Greenway Trail and parallel trails. Marathon and 50K participants will have the option to choose their final distance when returning to the finish (either stop for the “marathon” or keep going for the 50K! \nFor more information\, to register or volunteer\, please visit the race website. \n
