DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nKemp Mill C(hills) 5K/10K is a scenic tour through the rolling hills of Kemp Mill. Once the race starts\, runners may choose to turn around early and complete the 5K race\, or continue on for the extra challenge (and hills!) of the 10K race. \nBoth distances start and finish at Kemp Mill Elementary School and loop through the neighborhood on open roads.  Pre- and post-race activities will take place inside the school. \n  \nCOURSE MAPS: \n5K Course | 10K Course \n\n  \nREGISTRATION: \n\nMCRRC Members – \n\nThis race is part of our low-key race series and is FREE for MCRRC members.  Race registration is not required for members; however\, members must first signup for a 2026 bib & chip. Your bib & chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race.  If you have a 2025 (or older) chip\, please bring it with you to exchange for your 2026 bib & chip.  If you are a new member\, or no longer have an older chip\, please remember to bring a $5 chip deposit with you.  If you already signed up for a personalized 2026 bib\, please do not sign up again – your personalized 2026 low-key bib & chip will be waiting for you at any 2026 low-key race. \n\nNon-MCRRC Members – \nRegistration is open to non-MCRRC members at a cost of $22 (participants ages 18 & over) and $11.60 (participants under 18). DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nIn this race\, you will experience some of Montgomery County’s finest single-track trails as you meander along beautiful Seneca Creek in Seneca State Park.  This scenic trail is muddy\, rocky\, rooty\, hilly and steep in sections with no major elevation gain/loss. This is a challenging\, but beautiful run for all! \nThe Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon and 50K is a low-key\, low-priced and fun filled event along the beautiful Seneca Creek Greenway Trail and parallel trails. DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nMCRRC was born in March of 1978\, though Piece of Cake was created more than 25 years ago (March 24\, 1996)!  Join us in celebrating the club’s birthday with a new course beginning and ending at Meadow Hall Elementary in Rockville. The 10K (CS) and 5K races will start at 8:30 AM. \nAt the race site\, we will be collecting donations for “So What Else” Food Rescue Bank‘s shelf-life lunch kits\, snacks\, and drinks. Please consider a donation of shelf stable items for their school programs\, including child diapers of any size. There will be a labeled box inside the school to collect donations. SUMMARY:Spin in the Woods 4 Miler 2026
DESCRIPTION:RACE OVERVIEW: \nTake a spin in the woods for 4 miles at Wheaton Regional Park. This fun\, exciting trail race starts in the parking lot north of the Wheaton Ice Arena (11717 Orebaugh Avenue) and goes out for two loops on the Equestrian Trail and back. \nPlease park near the ice-skating arena or in the main parking lot once you enter the park\, not the parking lot for the dog park.
