Thursday Morning Kemp Mill Run

Overview

This early morning 6-mile run is a great workout through the neighborhood in the Kemp Mill area of Silver Spring.

We meet near the Sligo trailhead, behind the bank, and in front of the grocery store in the Kemp Mill Shopping Center lot.

This is a hilly area, so runs are for strength not speed. All paces are welcome.  A headlamp and reflective gear are recommended during the winter months.

The inclement weather cancellation policy follows MCPS announcements. If schools are delayed or closed, the run in cancelled.

This workout is also great prep for MCRRC’s newest low-key race, Kemp Mill (C)hills 5k / 10k on Presidents day weekend.
