Race Overview
Come out and enjoy the Bachmann family hospitality as they host this cross country race. You’ll enjoy some nice, rolling hills in the shadow of Sugarloaf Mountain while running 25% on trails and the remainder on grass. This compact, clever, and well-marked course is MCRRC’s best-kept secret! It’s pure XC, so bring your spikes! You never touch pavement!
Directions
– 270N
– Exit 22/ MD 109S (towards Poolesville.)
– Follow 109 (Old Hundred Road) to the Comus Inn. (Do NOT turn right on Thurston Road!!) The Inn will be on the right, at the intersection of 109 and Comus Road.
– Turn right (west) on Comus Road.
– Turn right on Barley Field Lane.
– Turn left on Barley Field Court and follow signs for parking.

The race is part of our low-key club race series and is free for MCRRC members, $10 for non-members 18 and over, and $5 for non-members under 18. Registration is race-day only starting an hour before the race. Use the Low Key Club Race Entry Form.
