REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

RACE OVERVIEW:

This race is for kids 17 years and under and part of the MCRRC Youth Series. Events will begin at 9:00AM at Cabin John Regional Park in Potomac, MD.  In the interest of promoting youth fitness, these races are free to all participants ages 17 and under, but participants must be registered by a parent! See “REGISTRATION” below.

RACE SCHEDULE:

9:00AM – 0.25mi young run (YS)
9:10AM – 0.50mi young run (YS)
9:25AM – 1mi (YS)

REGISTRATION:

There will be no timing chips used for the young runs.  Young runs will begin at 9:00 AM and participants can run 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, or 1 mile.  The runs are FREE, but all participants must be registered by a parent or guardian prior to race day (members and non-members). Register here! *** IMPORTANT NOTE: Parents or Guardians DO NOT need to register for the young runs to accompany your child.  You are welcome to jump right in with them, if needed!

DIRECTIONS:

From Seven Locks Road, turn east on Tuckerman Lane. Go two traffic lights to Westlake Drive. Turn right, go about 150 yards, and turn right into the first Cabin John Park entrance.

From Old Georgetown Road turn west on Tuckerman.  Go about one mile to first traffic light.  Turn left onto Westlake Drive, go about 150 yards, and turn right into first Cabin John Park entrance.

If you find yourself at the skating rink, you went too far.
