About MCRRC

The mission of the MCRRC is to promote and encourage running.

We are one of the largest, most active running clubs in the nation, known for our low-key but high-quality club races, training runs, special events, and other activities. We offer programs and opportunities for all types of runners, from newcomers to experienced. Whether your goal is to run a marathon or just to get into shape, you'll find other club members who share your interests.

MCRRC is affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). Our club members are encouraged to participate in the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix racing series, and details can be found on the Maryland RRCA website.

MCRRC now has a sister club in beautiful and historic Richmond (Upon Thames) in southwest London, the Ranelagh Harriers, thanks to the work of MCRRC (and Ranelagh) club member Dave Senft. Club members traveling to Richmond will have free access to training runs and any races that are free to Ranelagh members.

There are many wonderful benefits to being a member, including member discounts and our new club publication, MCRRC Crossroads. You can still view featured articles from The Rundown and back issues of Intervals.
